Forum For Food Processors?

Date: April 22, 2012 09:11AM I know I'm not posting in the right forum, but I was wondering if their was a forum for food processors? I've been looking at the Cuisinart® Elite Collection 14-Cup Food Processor. I've just read too many negative feedbacks on this product which has lead me to look at the Magimix 5200. Any thoughts on the Magimix? Is it worth the money. Thoughts on either one? Re: Forum For Food Processors?

Date: April 22, 2012 07:28PM I don't know about the Magmix 5200. Consumer Reports has a rating for food processors in the May 2012 edition. The Magmix 5150 ($450) was recommended and ranked 6 out of 47. The Breville Sous Chef ($400, 16 cup capacity) took top honors. Cuisinart DLC 11 cup and DFP 11 took 2nd and 3rd. The 7 cup Kitchen Aid KFP715 took 4th and CR Best Buy at $100 (this seems mixing price and value up a bit since it has less 1/2 the capacity of the Breville or Magmix.
It might be worth checking out at a Barnes & Noble. I agree with Tamara. I have a 14 cup Cuisinart that I love that was about 1/2 the price of the Breville. Best. Paul Re: Forum For Food Processors?
