Date: June 22, 2012 09:59PM The book I read also said not to wash for 2 hours after getting sun so that the D will be absorbed.
Some chemical sunscreens only protect against UVB but zinc oxide will protect against UVA too. I thought I heard UVC from the sun was blocked from reaching us? Re: Sunblock, sunscreen, cover up, etc

Date: June 26, 2012 08:40PM I use Badger sunscreen when I'm out in the sun for longer than normal. It uses zync oxide as main ingredient, and is non-nano. Apparently, most of the so called natural sunblock brands contain ingredients with nano particles. This brand is the only one I know that doesn't
[www.badgerbalm.com] Otherwise, I just stay out of the sun or use wide brim hat. Coconut oil works too when I"m at the pool or on the beach, just not for my face ( it make it break out). Otherwise it's too greasy to use with your clothes on. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
