so blending/juicing/freezing/mashing food is not good.

I want to know if shredding green leafs with by hand starts the oxidation process too.

The optimum raw food diet seems to be the one that is the most simplest.

and i love my version of RP's brownies... and honey... and other dessert like stuff.

well, chewing also causes cell walls to burst.

i think juicing and blending are different than freezing because when juicing and blending, one generally does so at the point of consumption... while freezing often involves multiple thawings and refreezings, as well as the deterioration that takes place during frozen storage.

when making my green smoothies i use cold water (from the fridge) so that should help reduce oxidation during blending. in addition i try not to over blend, and i ALWAYS make sure to chew every slurp of the smoothie, which ensures that my salivary enzymes are added and more cells are broken to released their nutrients.

if the cell walls of the food you eat don't burst you won't get any nutriton and you'll die.

rawfoodexplained is just a webste not the answer to all of life's questions like the Koran winking smiley.

think critically.

nnnarz that's what I as kinda thinking.

Doesn't oxidation occur when you chew on food that's in your mouth?
