Perhaps your body is going through a detox or repair process of some sort. Something in the tomatoes may be doing what your body needs. As long as you are experiencing no NEGATIVE SIDE EFFECTS, then listen to your body's intuition.

I didn't know there was such a thing as "too many tomatoes". I LOVE them! Especially the heirloom ones from our garden.

I agree, Yogamama. As a child I used to go into my grandmother's orchard and pick apples, pears and peaches off the tree. I would eat them all day long for days with the juice dripping down to our elbows! Healthy!

tomatos contain the alkaloid solanine, and also oxalic acid, which can inhibit the absorbtion of iron and calcium. "

"tomatos are very high in bitamin value. they are wonderful as a blood cleanser, and excellent in elimination diets. however, they should not be used to excess on a regular basis."

Jen,

If it feels good to eat those tomatoes, then eat them. You body will tell you when you've eaten too many. You will just lose your taste for them. So enjoy them while you're enjoying them.
