Endometriosis & Ovarian tumors

Date: October 21, 2006 08:38PM Hi everybody. My 21 year old niece recently found out that she had a tumor on her ovary. Doctors did an exploratory surgery, drained the benign tumor and found a bad case of endometriosis. Because she is so young, and still would like to have kids, they were conservative, thank goodness. They are now sending her to a specialist for treatment (not sure what that will be), and her mom has been reading up on dietary changes. I know that she would probably not be interested in going 100% raw (most of my family thinks I'm a bit nuts for being so opinionated about raw foods). However, if any of you have success stories or some kind of info to share on this subject, I will pass it on to my niece. I think she needs all the good info she can get right now. Thanks!
