Date: October 23, 2006 04:22AM I'm happier than I was a year ago but not as happy as I'll be a year from now.
Dissatisfaction is the first cause of all creation. In fact just thinking about it makes me happy. Re: R U happy ?

Date: October 23, 2006 05:24AM A child asked the song bird in the tree:
"Birdie, why are you so full of joy?" The bird responds, "I do not sing because I'm happy. I am happy because I sing." ............................................ Don't worry if it's not good enough for anyone else to hear. Just sing, sing a song.... "Sing" by the Carpenters Re: R U happy ?

"happy in my sadness we all smile I am many things happiness is included..." Beautifully put... that is right on the mark. Are you a musician/songwriter? Re: R U happy ?

Date: October 23, 2006 06:13PM Sometimes I'm happy, sometimes I'm not. To know that that's the way things are can be very peaceful. If happy is the same thing as peaceful, then count me in! *smiles* Re: R U happy ?

Date: October 24, 2006 02:51AM I tend to reappear from time to time, but yeah I've been gone from this site a lot (Although in the past when I'd leave a site for that long I usually wouldn't come back - this is the only forum where I've stayed for longer than a month or two ) Re: R U happy ?

Date: October 25, 2006 05:43AM La_veronique, my apologies if I confused poets. Sorry
to singinraw if those are your words. I celebrate both your presences here. Jade, your beautiful poem summoned a stream of thoughts that led to new creations, thank you. I was thinking today that discovering nature each day is greatly my happiness. Took a few hours to see a small nature preserve. Met a magnificent "eastern box" turtle who matched my curiosity.. looked like he was going to say something; Monty & Martha, two pythons entwined in a mesmerizing dance; "Island Bearded Dragons" with spikes for eyelashes; a boa named Samantha; a turtle with an armadillo-like shell (in the tank was kale and bananas!); a dove with a light blue beak; a monarch butterfly that trusted my outstretched finger as a depot; and trees and bushes with berries in autumn brilliance. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
