some people say that when u die u go to heaven

and then other people say heaven is here on earth

i learned all this from a little birdy bird

Yes, heaven comes after you die. That is where you are reunited with your parents, friends and especially your beloved companion animals who predeceased you.

I can't think of the name of it... there was an AMAZING Robin Williams movie about life after death (if anyone is particularly pondering the subject at the moment).

Heaven and hell are both on earth. Earth is what we make it. We have the power to recreate Eden... so that's what I'm working at. I'm trying to be there already as much as possible, some days I am and some days I'm not.

I also feel very inclined to protect the heavenly places and wonders on earth...

So many definitions of heaven in Wikipedia. But paradise exists on earth. Eating from the tree of knowledge of right and wrong will eject you from paradise tho.

Perhaps we lost sense of heaven when we became civilized, becoming too disconnected from nature (losing our senses). Look to some indigenous tribes, which still worship their ancestors by worshiping nature, the place that absorbed them, instead of worshiping some abstract heaven from above. Would we cut down all the trees (heaven on earth) if we believed in the obvious, that we'll eventually be reabsorbed into nature, instead of some abstract fantasy?

Too ethereal for me but wherever it is, I think I like it. If we see what we want to see - I see heaven. I love this place.
