Date: August 16, 2012 12:03AM I said some because I was only referring to the ones who are annoyingly smug about it. No one wants to feel dissed because of their diet. I see people who are putting all this JUNK in their carts but sheesh, I would never wag a finger at them. The woman you speak of sounds very interesting and not a jerk. Re: SAD friends

Date: August 16, 2012 12:28AM I haven't seen her in awhile, I usually see her shopping. I should ask my partner if hes see her lately. I don't remember ever seeing her using a cane or a walker. Shes very slim. And yes, shes not a jerk.
But definately energetic and opinionated, but I think open to new ideas. Very much different from my mil. I don't remember her getting too detailed about her ideas on food, except she avoids sugar and white flour. I rather expected that actually, and wasn't surprised at all. Fresh foods she eats frequently, if not daily. but I don't think shes raw particulary or vegan. She placed a high value on being optimistic and hopeful, believing that any problem has a solution, just that most people give up before exploring every option.
