Does anyone have a recommendation for sites to order raw foods?

Date: October 30, 2012 07:33PM I am looking for quality products (clearly labeled with country of origin) at reasonable prices, as well as reasonable shipping costs (or better still, free shipping if you order over a certain amount of money). I have ordered from rawfoodworld in the past so I am already familiar with them. Any other ideas would be greatly appreciated. Re: Does anyone have a recommendation for sites to order raw foods?

The raw food world as you say has a good selection. I like gourmet raw's brands of brownie bars and raw crisps. They do carob bars for those who can't tolerate cacao also, the carob orange is nice. They are not fat heavy which is good for those who don't like the high fat treats. The raw crisps are also better than other dehydrated crackers which can be hard to digest, there raw crisps are very thin and again not fat heavy due to the sprouted buckwheat. Can't remember how much they cost though. I am lucky to be blessed with a good friend who makes me really awesome raw cakes, kale chips etc. There was a website that made really awesome fresh raw cakes but i lost it, if anyone knows the site id appreciate the link. All sorts of raw cheesecakes, chocolate cakes and other great looking treats. [www.vegankingdom.co.uk] Edited 2 time(s). Last edit at 10/30/2012 09:41PM by powerlifer. I should have said a place to buy raw nori sheets, raw carob powder (which I am running out of), and other staples. Not really gourmet stuff or supplements. Date: October 31, 2012 09:05PM Hmm ive heard Navitas Naturals are good for raw nori sheets but expensive probably. With nori i prefer to just buy regular or organic, im not really bothered if raw or toasted. It doesn't effect the minerals/trace and ultra trace elements much.
I get my raw carob powder from Shazzie's store, detoxyourworld which again is expensive because its marked up as raw. But the quality is there, i love the raw carob cakes i make when i have the time. Date: November 01, 2012 10:42PM Utopian Life, thanks for that link. It looks promising. I like that it listed Greece as its county of origin for the carob. Even on Amazon (which carries some of the raw food world merchandise), their carob has no country listed Re: Does anyone have a recommendation for sites to order raw foods?

Food must be raw with high water content. Re: Does anyone have a recommendation for sites to order raw foods?

Date: November 13, 2012 10:54PM I like Dimond Health for discounted bulk items and they'll even do custom orders from stuff not on the website. Too many of these places charge too much. Think Dimond Health is also a member of this forum, so it's nice having that personal contact.
price was my issue with highvibe (back when i looked at them). ebay surprisingly is also kind of costly even though for other things u can get a good deal. i guess these places are fine if u only need a couple of items. I like to stock up. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
