Date: December 20, 2012 03:33PM Once the body is cleaner, so is the mind. Maybe it is the hormones. Maybe it is what you don't have. Maybe it is what you are not. Anyway, do you see yourself as a different person than the rest? What do all these things have in common?

Date: December 21, 2012 06:40AM Yes, raw foods was instrumental for me in healing the effects of the SAD diet, coffee addiction, and overwork. As my body became less dense, I was able to listen more to my body and benefit from its wisdom.
Stuff from my adult SAD days: SweeTarts. Coca Cola, cappuccino, espresso bandaids lots of kleenex breath mints / listerine deodorant shampoo medicated soap toxic household soaps, cleansers, laundry detergent artificially scented stuff contact lenses Re: has raw food make you different?

Date: December 21, 2012 10:16AM the above things are products of a culture. And like Raw Lion said, they are drugs. Health improves once they are removed and a new lifestyle is chosen. SAD life is a cycle of feeling bad and reacting by taking drugs (headache-pill). You want to remove the cause of the bad feeling. You do not want cover the symptons with easy-convenient things (pills). High calory foods (artificial-man made)are also a drug (like cakes, icecream, ect). They triger 'rewards' (dopamine) in the brain and they are used to compensate for problems in life. It is a vicious cycle hard to break away unless one is aware. In order to live, people thing that drugs are normal because the culture pushes them as a way to respond Edited 2 time(s). Last edit at 12/21/2012 10:21AM by Panchito. Date: December 21, 2012 07:03PM Intresting comment by Brian Clement, he says every seven years he feels like a new person wich is how long it supposedly takes to fully rebuild the body if in good condition. He also says that he still feels detoxing effects from having such a superior diet, emotional and physical. Don't quote me word for word it was a long time ago. Re: has raw food make you different?

Date: December 21, 2012 10:16PM Prana, you ate Sweet Tarts as an adult?!
So what do you do about cleaning your clothes? I use a natural detergent. I never connected it to SAD. Re: has raw food make you different?

Date: January 03, 2013 06:18AM Just eating this way will necessarily affect your social life, and your social life affects you. After a while, you choose to either be a closet raw foodist or an open one, and both kinds, open ones especially, tend to gravitate toward other raw foodists. These people affect how you act, who you become. [fresherthanlife.com] Re: has raw food make you different?

Date: January 03, 2013 10:19AM In regards to the social life, your body becomes more attractive to the opposite sex and a magnet. People tell you things like your face has changed. others stare at you. There is no trouble with the social life as long as you know how to say no (to beers, etc). Still go out at night till like 2am twice a week and looking young. Love it. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
