In small amounts, as in baked goods, not known to be a problem. In large amounts, could cause problems for stomach acid production, and all the successive problems that would bring. I have never come across any logical argument for taking baking soda internally--that is, not as a food ingredient--for any disorder. There is some confusion about experimental alkali infusions as a cancer protocol(such as those of Tullio Simoncini in Italy), and alkali taken as a supplement. But of course, these are not the same thing, and the latter cannot be substituted for the former, or anything else like it. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
