Date: March 06, 2013 09:50PM Hi All,
I'll tell ya, the more I learn, the more that I realize how much I don't know. I love learning though. Ok, so for those of you who have been at this a long time, what, besides some food, is bad for us?? I know that most products and the mainstream market are probably bad. I just don't know what and why. Anyone have a nice list of some of these things and some healthy alternatives? I am ready to start making some of these changes. I have a girlfriend who even made her own baby shampoo. I've no doubt that I've not even yet thought of everything, so if any of you want to school me...I am your student! Thanks so much! Date: March 06, 2013 10:01PM I recently made my own tooth powder, it's pretty good.
[www.craftster.org] Here's the laundry soap I've been making for years, it's great. [www.flickr.com] I order face and body products that I can't make myself from Garden Of Wisdom, they have terrific stuff. They also sell raw ingredients if you want to make your own, there's a forum for asking questions too. [www.gardenofwisdom.com] Mountain Rose herbs is a terrific resource, they have tons of hard to find high quality ingredients. [www.mountainroseherbs.com] If you go through this forum there are some great archives with recipes etc. [www.rawfoodsupport.com] Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 03/06/2013 10:02PM by coco. Date: March 07, 2013 03:06AM Ecos is my go-to laundry detergent. I actually buy Trader Joe's Tea Tingle shampoo and found it to be very non-irritating and stripping. Believe me, I have tried some "natural" stuff that screwed up my hair's moisture. For soap, I use Tea Tingle. Why not? It works! Re: Healthy Alternatives (Shampoo, cleaners, laundry det., etc)
