Has anyone purchased a food chopper? I dont have time to chop all my veggies and I am spending money going to the local market, salad bar just becuase the veggies are already cut up in small pieces.

However, I saw in Walgreens this chopper ( i forget what it is called, starts with an "s" and it was only 20. I bet I could save more money if I prepare my meals ahead of time while at schoool.

any thoughts?

I don't recommend those, if they are what I am thinking of.

A mini food processor or regular food processor is better, IMO. Stronger motor and blades. Or use a ceramic or sharpened knife and cutting board. smiling smiley

The one I've been using for yrs is the Black & Decker EHC650 2-Speed Food Chopper. It chops, grinds & pureeā€™s veggies, nuts, seeds, onions, garlic, lettuce greens, apples, makes banana ice cream, etc. It's easier than constantly relying on my Vitamix (which I love) & way easier than chopping with a knife (unless you have excellent knife skills).
