Date: April 03, 2013 04:54PM I am wondering how much fat we should have in our diet..in general.
I think the olive oil might be affecting me.. has anyone else experienced a difference once they get rid of olive oil? also, in terms of grams, for me, it helps to have a better understanding of how much fat grams I need in my diet. Again, this is different for everyone, I know. Right now, I get my fat from flax seed, chia, hemp, olive oil and of course, the veggies. Sometimes, I put 2 tablespoons of flax on my salad at lunch and one at dinner... is that too much? Thanks! Re: Fat

Date: April 04, 2013 01:06AM Get rid of the olive oil. Eat whole foods that are fatty instead, say like avocado, nuts, seeds, coconuts, etc. Oils are refined so that the stuff that makes it possible to taste rancidity is removed, so you really can't tell if the oil is rancid or bad.
With avocados, you know it's fresh. If you are eating 2000 calories, and you desire a 20% fat intake, then that is about 44 grams of fat. Re: Fat

On the day I bought a liter of olive oil! But I have a great sense of taste and can tell if an oil is rancid. Seriously. And I have taken back olive oil that didn't cut it. Re: Fat
