Does anyone have a raw apple pie recipe?

Date: October 08, 2013 01:30AM I am looking for one that mimics the "real" thing. One which would be served warm (dehydrator) and which is not just apple sauce in a nut crust (which I already found in one of my books). Re: Does anyone have a raw apple pie recipe?

If I needed to make one, I would use a standard raw nut and date crust. Prepare the apples like you would for an apple pie, but maybe marinate with date paste and spices to soften up a bit, perhaps using ground chia seeds as a thickener.  Re: Does anyone have a raw apple pie recipe?

Prana, was that a bit of a snarky joke?  I clicked on that and it says "let me Google that for you..." I should have specified that I DID Google it and found a recipe that looks pretty good but I wanted recipes that you folks have tried. I have found with raw recipes that they sometimes don't pan out and then you are stuck with something you don't want to eat and it is very expensive.Re: Does anyone have a raw apple pie recipe?

Date: October 08, 2013 02:33PM Thanks! I think I came across that one somewhere and was a bit intimidated because of the ingredients list as well as it being tarts.
