Emerald Cove Nori Sheets- you think ok now?

Date: November 03, 2013 07:32PM Emerald Cove Organic Pacific Nori, ocean plant..I love it, BUT, I was wondering, like alot of raw foodies I eat this brand of untoasted raw nori. I was wondering since FUKUSHIMA, I have heard stories of people who eat fish from the Pacific ocean are now getting radiation. That all the Pacific Tuna has doubled etc. Would Nori plants absorb the radiation? Is it safe to eat? I mean there is so much radiation been poured into the ocean daily from Japan. Date: November 03, 2013 07:41PM As long as your not eating crazy amounts, you should be fine. Nori is a great choice of sea vegetable and rich in many nutrients.
Like i say aslong as your not eating packs upon packs a day, you'll be fine and like all sea vegetables there a good source of many hard to get nutrients such as iodine and other trace elements. Personally i prefer kelp because it contains a type of fiber called algin that binds to heavy metals and radioactive elements if present. Which makes it the safest choice of sea vegetable in my opinion. Natures way or Now foods are good brands of kelp - Natures Way Kelp Capsules Edited 3 time(s). Date: November 03, 2013 07:49PM Good to know about Kelp. I heard that about Zeolite too. I have a bag of it. I sometimes put in smoothies. I also take iodine drops in water so I dont get the radiation out there. They say all the north of equator will be affected and by next June the radiation will hit our coasts. I don't want that radiation in my body. Plus, seaweed is like the ocean's water filter. Not optimal in any way shape or form! You'll get over it.

Date: November 10, 2013 09:34AM I just ordered some from Iceland. I heard of Coast to Coast that kelp etc is really good for removing radiation but you cannot get it from contaminated source. Radiation is here BABIES!! We all have to deal. This doctor says kelp, seaweeds propbiotics etc have to be a way of life, for your entire life if you are in Northern hemisphere.
