There's also an interesting online article on "eden ahbez" (formerly George Alexander Aberle of Brooklyn, NY), writer of "Nature Boy"(though apparently he had to make "a settlement" for reusing a Jewish tune). Google "California's First Hippie/Uncle John's Bathroom Reader" for exciting details.
