Is this a quality soil to use?

I'm starting to grow my own sprouts and am looking forward to growing my own greens and wheatgrass, but I'm not sure which type of soil to use. Would this be a quality soil - [purplecoworganics.com]?

In my opinion greens and wheatgrass are grown on medium (soil or other base) to have something for the roots to hold onto. We harvest those foods within 2 weeks, a germination that is getting their nutrients from the seed, not the soil. Therefore I do not think this is necessary for growing greens.

Though, the product seems like an excellent product and if I was going to grow, let's say, kale or basil and continue to harvest (like a mini indoor garden) over time, I would use this so that the plant continues to be feed.
