Raw Ice Cream

Date: November 30, 2006 05:12AM I have the vice cream book and I didn't like the raw recipes very much. I think a version of the recipes in Raw Food Real World, or ones online turn out better. The one I made from vice cream was quite icy.. Re: Raw Ice Cream

Date: November 30, 2006 01:40PM I like using the frozen banana thing, this seems to resemble ice cream the most to me. The funny thing is though, I don't really miss ice cream these days. The thought of milk and where it comes from absolutely disgusts me now.
The first time I froze bananas though, I left the skin on lol! I had to stand there and break the frozen skin off. Re: Raw Ice Cream

Date: November 30, 2006 07:54PM I also have the Cuisinart ICE-20 1-1/2-Quart Automatic Ice Cream maker. I don't use it very often, but think it was a good buy (it cost me around $50) to satsify my wish to make and eat ice cream. So far I've only made vanilla and pistachio icecreams, I think I'll try some fruit ones and some chocolate ones, but probably not until the weather warms up again.
