Reptiles live forever

A hundred years old turtle has organs as healthy as a one year old (or healthier). They never die of natural death. Neither do lizards, aligators, lobsters...what's up with that?

They do not eat much and their skin is a protective shield against predators.
Creatures that eat all the time do not live long.
