Traumatic Brain Injury recovery.

Date: March 19, 2014 10:40AM I had a traumatic brain injury back in September and I have been unable to recieve proper medical treatement thus far. I can't afford to go to a rehabilitation center and Stem cell therapy can only do so much. I was assaulted repeatedly and I now have vision and speech problems, memory problems, and a growing amount of confusion as well as dysarthia. I used to be a raw food purist but I have fallen off the wagon with years of smoking and heavy alcohol abuse but this was the final straw. I don't want to be semi cured, I want to be better than I was before the attack. But I have little or no hope of recovery. Except for raw foods and stem cell therapy. But it's so hard taking care of myself in regardless. I could pay for food and rent to stay with a raw foodist who can help with my recovery because the environment i'm in makes it difficult too stay raw. I can't let this depression take over. Does raw food help repair your vision, and other damaged parts of the brain? Re: Traumatic Brain Injury recovery.

I have a pound and a jar of capsules of Klamath Falls blue-green algae, a very large new container of organic coconut oil (good brain and nerve food), assorted bottles of still good expensive unopened supplements, and about a 1/2 lb. of chlorella which I can donate to your cause if you want them. PM me an address which can handle the delivery of a large box and I will send them to you. Learning to forage will be very important. You can buy a cheap non- electric wheatgrass juicer and as long as you can find unsprayed grass you can have great quality green juice for free while you learn. Chlorophyll is chlorophyll. Date: March 19, 2014 10:11PM Cannabis oil and/or juicing cannabis leaves is great for the brain, check out this study: [www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov]
Any exercise you can do would be great, even if its just walking a mile or two each day. Chlorella, walnuts, curcumin (from the Indian spice turmeric)... maybe a vegan DHA supplement, high-doses of vitamin C (raw camu camu powder is a good option), high-doses of vitamin E (tocotrienols), goji berries, along with fresh fruit (berries, apples, avocado, etc.), fresh veggies (preferably sprouts). A micro-algae supplement, Astaxanthin, could be very helpful as well. Astaxanthin and camu camu are very good for your eyes. It's good that you have a positive attitude, that is key when it comes to healing! Edited 3 time(s). Last edit at 03/19/2014 10:21PM by jtprindl. Re: Traumatic Brain Injury recovery.

i heard there were various online programs for self help rehabilitation for people with brain injuries i think they were like "puzzles" of sort to stimulate certain regions of the brain so that it can aid in their function(s) if i had the name(s) i would give it to you but i don't remember the name of it though i have heard of it i can appreciate how overwhelming it must be for you never take your eyes off of what you CAN do and what you DO have not even for a second especially now Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
