this banana cost 6 bucks
they are limited edition ( even numbered as such)

comes in fancy schmancy wrapping package with confetti, little calligraphy like box etc.

but when u open the calligraphy box ( the type of box that usually houses a paintbrush or some special ink thing a ma jig for imperial stamping purposes)

instead... u get a

( drumroll)

a bananana

and you are out 6 cool ones

yep you heard it

one banana equals six bucks

cuz it was super hybridized to the max

supposedly more sweet n fragrant n "textured" ( whatever that means)

okay... fruit as perfume

I bet they aren't as good or sweet as the cheap little red ones. My favorites...

They can keep their non fresh heavily hybridised food. I'll continue to have my FRESH foods high in vitamins, minerals, enzymes, phytochemicals, phytohormones and oxygen.

Fancy filling your stomach with a dubious food that takes 4 hours to digest with little nutrition, and not fresh. I'd rather use those 4 houyrs on a meal of seaweeds, algaes and sprouted seeds....get much more bang for your digestion time.

I remember the time when l was on holiday and Mr Kearns (sproutarian) visited me. I had some bananas and ate them one afternoon instead of seeds, and he looked at me in complete bewilderment wondering if l had lost my sanity for engaging in such questionable activities.

Another time we went to a farmers market and saw lots of people buying fruits and vegetables, and we just looked at each other, shrugged and Mr Kearns said "fancy eating such rubbish". An hour later l ended up regreting eating those dubious bananas.

Sounds extreme maybe, but sproutarians (Brian Clement included) see fruits and vegetables as greatly inferior. I wouldn't go as far to call fruits and veggies rubbish, but it's certainly not something l want to be consuming.
