Date: August 01, 2014 03:39PM I bought a seeded watermelon. I have been doing that lately, buying the seeded variety. It was huge so I took a good part of it and put it in the Vitamix, seeds and all. The seeds are crunchy but rather soft. You can eat them--you don't have to spit them out.
There must have been a bit of fat in my juice, eh? It was nice and smooth (I didn't strain it) and very refreshing. Re: Here's what I did:

Date: August 01, 2014 10:47PM LOL--today it was figs. The watermelon is finito. I am curious if blending all those seeds renders my juice a bit fatty. It was creamy but still watery. I doubt Chronometer would have this data on tap so I wondered if anyone could hazard a guess. Re: Here's what I did:

Date: August 02, 2014 10:47AM I accidentally bite into watermelon seeds almost every time, and I find them to be quite tasty (though I spit them out, I don't eat them). The inner part is white and the taste is similar to walnuts. They would be great to eat, but it's too difficult to take out the core (I wouldn't eat the outer black part). They are definitely interesting seeds...
