David Wolfe explains how if you don't include some type of fat with your green juices, you're not absorbing the carotenoids and color pigments of that juice. Re: David Wolfe on anti-fat

He also talks about a study which revealed that people who ate salads with fat-free dressings absorbed very little carotenoids and those who had olive oil in their dressings had no problems with absorption. Exactly. The science does back up what he is saying. Avocado on greens is said toi be enough fat to maximise absorption. I don't do green juices with oil, but l always have my main algaes with fats. Do you have the David Wolfe link? Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 10/13/2014 10:14PM by The Sproutarian Man. Re: David Wolfe on anti-fat

Yeah, the video is in the first post. I don't have the link to the exact studies he's referring to, though, but I'm sure with enough digging, they could be found. I might start taking 1/2 tsp. of coconut oil before green juices. Re: David Wolfe on anti-fat

Now David Wolfe to the rescue. Go ahead and drink olive oil, coconut oil There are plenty of foods out there with a lot fat. Re: David Wolfe on anti-fat

Yeah, there are. There's also healthy oils, too. Re: David Wolfe on anti-fat

Date: October 14, 2014 02:00AM hmmm...I've heard that before. Thats the same argument that Sally Fallon uses. Add butter to anything to get more nutrients. It gets more nutrients but it also gets more fat.

Date: October 14, 2014 03:28AM That makes sense. And it's not about "drinking oil" but at least consuming a decent percentage versus little to none "overt" fats. Re: David Wolfe on anti-fat

Date: October 14, 2014 03:37AM Sally says many interesting things but she gets busted when she blames lack of animal products for the decline of mankind. Gabriel Coisens read the Western Price book five times and said it was the processed food which marked the decline, NOT the reduction of animal products, nor the increase in plant oils.
The Paleo/Western Price mob slip in many dubious claims if you are not wide awake. It is so easy to bust them. I was reading the Mark Sisson blog the other week and he was being sneaky too. He was saying how bad sunflower seeds were and saying you will regret it if you have too many. He was doing lots of ranting but actually said nothing constructive. He also mentioned that Chia is no good because of anti nutrients and they are almost impossible to convert any DHA to be worth having etc. Don't worry folks, l am well onto Sally's lies. No retinol, no cholesterol, no K2 etc etc. No no Sally,l am well awake up to you....keep it honest or l bust you, same goes with the vegans. www.thesproutarian.com Re: David Wolfe on anti-fat

As I recall he advocated more of a vegetarian diet. I think he would be turning in his grave if could see how his work has been twisted and shoehorned into a box by that institute which is leeching off his name. Re: David Wolfe on anti-fat

Yes, and l believe he also came across vegetarian cultures in his travels who were thriving, but the WP foundation coveniently left that part out. I shall buy that book. I'll get back to your other stuff later. I can see it there. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
