ideal countertop for the kitchen for raw lifestyle

Date: December 30, 2014 12:24AM I like to watch the videos of raw foodists who are working in their $50-$100K high-end kitchens with the gleaming granite or quartz countertops and their stainless appliances and their top-of-the-line cabinets, etc.
Meanwhile my countertop is on its last leg (butcher block). Seams are splitting and the sink is pulling apart from the countertop. Wood is gorgeous and biodegradable but I killed it. What do you think is the best affordable replacement? I spend a great deal of time washing, chopping, grating, spiralizing, and shredding. I consider myself to be a very heavy user of the countertop. What do you think is best for a raw lifestyle? Consider what you might get if money were no object and also what you would get if you needed to spend the absolute minimum. Date: January 02, 2015 02:22AM I think ideally what would work is a big gigantic chunk of ROSE QUARTZ would be perfect, one side totally flat and shiny. Don't forget to think about love when chopping those veggies.
