Date: January 02, 2015 04:24AM I'm a big believer in the momentum of significant dates and I've made many life changes on my birthday as well as the new year.
For me, this year I have decided to plant more seeds, juice more, rollerblade, ski, bike more regularly. Get back to the weights and daily yoga and occasional fasting too. Coconutcream, thanks for sharing! I think I'll incorporate some of your resolutions into mine, especially eat more wild greens and more durian. Re: New Years Raw Vegan Wishes and Resolutions

Date: January 02, 2015 03:22PM I'd like to accomplish several of Coconutcream's wishes, also.
Perfect dehydrator treats and getting more innovative in creating original raw vegan recipes are especially fun sounding new things to work on. I'd also like to find a durian and a passion fruit. Those and raw vegan cheeses and cheesecakes are also things I've never tasted yet. I'll try to make this the year for those things! Re: New Years Raw Vegan Wishes and Resolutions

Date: January 02, 2015 06:41PM I recently tried durian for the first time. It was almost too good.
My goals are to learn how to wild craft greens, start growing wheat grass, buy a new juicer since my old cheap one literally collapsed on itself and juiced the basket (juicer suicide), meditate and do breathwork daily, invest into shipyard rope and kettle bells for functional strength exercise, spend as much time as humanly possible loving my young children, and living a genuinely stress free life. Also heal my gut completely so I can eat nuts again without breaking out. Continue to eat 100% raw goes without saying, apart from herbal teas. Re: New Years Raw Vegan Wishes and Resolutions

Date: January 03, 2015 04:19AM SueZ, durian can be found in Asian grocery stores and can be bought as fresh or frozen.
Frozen is cheaper and I don't know why. Maybe your defraying the cost of those fresh ones that will rot before they're sold. Here in Canada, I can expect to pay $40 to $50 for fresh durian and $15 to $25 for frozen. Maybe it sounds a little expensive but there's a lot of rich eating for your money... A little expensive if you don't like it. I ate it several times before the cravings developed. It's an acquired taste but if you stick with it, you'll see why they call it the king of fruit. Yummmmmm! Re: New Years Raw Vegan Wishes and Resolutions

I can get a lot of jungle produce but no one has had durian of any kind for the years I've been looking for it. I'll see if I can get any of them to special order me one this year. Maybe I can special order some of those crazy cool looking passion fruits, too. Re: New Years Raw Vegan Wishes and Resolutions

Date: January 03, 2015 05:02AM My friend from Sri Lanka assures me that the best possible Durian are locally grown and that they are not very tasty by the time it takes to get them to the USA.
I believe her. Re: New Years Raw Vegan Wishes and Resolutions

Thanks, I try to order it frozen then I guess. I'm not going to pay $50 for a shadow of something. Re: New Years Raw Vegan Wishes and Resolutions
