Favorite Raw Dessert?

What is your favorite raw dessert? My friend makes a really amazing raw almond milk with dates and Himalayan salt, IN which I dunk a Bliss Bar (amazing, raw, vegan, organic, superfood-rich, chocolate bar- blisssuperfoods.com). I also like doing something simple like Nori with almond butter.... which is absolutely amazing... and I never thought I would eat nori as a dessert.... but try it with almond butter and you will understand. So yeah, I am interested in hearing awesome new innovations in the dessert world!

Blessings and have an awesomely healthy and happy day.

Banana & papaya pudding - 2 bananas & 1 papaya. It looks and tastes like something you'd be served in an expensive restaurant grinning smiley

Desserts are the devil's work smiling smiley The plainer the food tastes the better, because yummy-tasting food is an addiction and will distract you from spiritual progress. Best not to focus on anything of this world at all, so why make it hard for ourselves by tempting ourselves with delicious foods and other things?

Besides, if you just finished eating dinner, why would you turn around and start eating more food after you are already satisfied?? Makes no sense to me.

I think the most orgasmic food is a fruit salad in the summer with apricots and berries and shredded coconut and peaches and melons and berries. I like to have a riot of color and flavor in my food.

For myself, the physical world is very much a part of my spiritual practice. The initiatory process of bringing the spirit to the physical world is why I take such joy in preparing and communing with food. I am not seeking to escape this world, only permeate it with my consciousness and spirit. This is the nature of art, it unifies the self with all of existence. Likewise, as I partake in the blessing of earths bounty, I am unifying my temple with the temple of the earth. Do as you please, but I am going to be making delicious desserts that I save room for after each meal smiling smiley

I haven't had much of a chance to try a variety of raw desserts, but I love my banana ice cream - just some vanilla bean or carob. Sometimes I top it with a fruit sauce, just blended mango. I would love to try it with pineapple or dates.

I used to like the raw chocolate bars from Not Your Sugar Mama's, though I now think they use maple syrup in their recipe. Will still treat myself to their cacao seashells, though, next time I visit Martha's Vineyard winking smiley

Sweet juicy cherries.
Simply wash and eat them with a smile.
You cannot improve on them by "preparing" them.
