is this correct?

for 2000cal food intake/day

omega 6 min requirements = 2% of Energy=40 calories=4.5grams
omega 3 min requirement = .5% of E = 10 calories=1 gram

and 250mg of epa+dha

8% ala converted to epa = 400mg based on 5mg intake
4% ala converted to dha = 200mg based on 5mg intake
results in sufficient epa and dha (600mg)
(not including depletion of ala during conversion. not sure how to calc that)

of course if conversion rates are lower, may not suffice.

Looks ok to me, but you should link to the doc. Last report I read of theirs stated that healthy men do not benefit from a fat intake over 20-25%. Long time ago so I don't know if anything has changed.

Regarding conversion rates, they will be as good as possible when the O6:O3 ratio is correct and saturated and trans fat intakes are low.

I am not sure that lower conversion to EPA/DHA is a concern for men. Some researchers think that men's is lower than women's because men don't need this capacity like women do (for potential pregnancy).

Anyway, many times I suspect all this concern is overblown in the context of a healthy diet. The lady who started making a huge fuss about all this is Artemis Simopoulos. She is obese and looks diabetic. How's all that olive oil and fish working out for her?

Compare her to Annette Larkins. I think they are around the same age.

sorry i forgot the link

of course many think we need more, more...

but
if correct with respect to minimum requirement, the point is that 4.5 and 1 g are very easy to get, not hard to get, as is commonly stated here.

It is hard for junk food vegans, and junk food raw vegans.

It is easy if you are eating mostly f+v with lots of greens.
