"Ice cream" without using bananas?

So I've tried the raw vegan "ice cream" made out of bananas. It is yummy, but bananas aren't necessarily a flavor that goes with every other flavor. I was thinking of using (mung bean or oat) sprout milk instead since it's more bland. Kind of want to do a mint carob chip ice cream (call the raw police! I know the carob chips I get are likely not 100% rawwinking smiley). Wondering if that would work? Or any other good ideas for "bases" for ice cream that aren't flavorful on their own?

I bought a book with alot of raw recipes and its called VICE CREAM. I recommend.

Anyways, he uses cashews, but you have to make sure they are hand shelled to be truly raw

I've yet to try any recipes myself, but I've seen plenty that use a base of macadamia nuts, cashews, Brazil nuts, or young coconut meat. I've even seen a recipe using avocado!

Durian would be a good base, too. It's relatively high in fat.

You could blend just about any nut/seed or avocado with just about any nut/fruit.

A lot of people were doing chocolate pudding with avocado, coconut nibs, and dates. Just put it in the freezer.

Cashews are never raw they are poisonous that way.

True. Many nuts and seeds are poisonous in their natural state.
