Cooked vegetables vs. raw the finger smiley

Okay so when it comes to vegetables, wherther or not it is suitable for man is relative and debatable of course but I think, speaking of just pain vegetables without any salt or so, broccolisoup with just broccoli in its own cooking water (the water from cooked broccoli is so good!), I think it taste better than plain raw broccoli, different but more appetezing still. Its a nice taste. Same goes for beets in my opion. Carrots im not sure, certain makr me feel like one cannot eat many raw without losing apetite for the taste. What do you think? Speaking not of it being optimal in any way but yeah

Well if you read the book "Tending the Wild" which is a fascinating read of the habits of all the California Native Americans before the white Euro invasion, they cooked most of their food by necessity and were eating Wild and intentionally planted Wild foods.

I often wonder about the cooked/raw thing as many foods in the Wild need to be cooked to be edible except for berries, tender spring greens and some Wild fruits. The raw foods we enjoy eating have been breed over time to dilute/remove the toxins that occur naturally within them.

At the same time, it's not a diet you find in Wild nature...

Why not eat more salad? There are many greens to choose from, as well as veggies like celery, cukes, toms, etc.

your statement ("the only way to be successful"winking smiley is not a something that is subject to an opinion (an IMO)

it is something that is subject to observation and confirmation of truth or falsity.

and the observation is that quite a few people are vegan and successful without sprouts.

so your opinion is false.

Prana, Yes sallad is nice. I like iceberg lettuce. But just a different sense of fulfillment and taste is diffent too. I know its true that when not hungry, the lust for taste doesnt matter that much but sometimes it just seems so appealing like other things. As said certainly not ideal in the sense of freshness but Ive had a little turbulent relation with food that I need to find ways to relax a little and reach for some stable ground. I sort of like the idea of eating things plain that tastes appealing in general.

You know with salad its a few things like I can rarely find tomatoes of good quality here and when they're not they leaves sores in my mouth and that just makes me irritated. I was in Scicily once and the tomatoes were so delicious it was crazy and not hurtful to my mouth and other things to.

Maybe I should move to Yelm? Ive heard so many good things about it. Gods lives there, Ive heard.

Cooked versus raw is a cool discussion because I know that all fruits and vegetables have phytonutrients that are paired with living enzymes that help put the phytonutrients into the cells where they go. Also when your diet is 51% cooked food your body activates your immune system with everything you eat.

I have also heard that like in tomatoes if you cook them you get a higher concentration of lycopene. Which makes up for the damaged enzymes.

It is good to have both cooked and vegetables in your diet. You should eat more raw meals then cooked meals for sure though. At least 51% raw meals so that your body will give your immune system a rest.

It's St Patty's Day so I'm enjoying a RAW green smoothie called the Manonach, from the smoothie shop I work at. We use a whole orange, a whole banana, a cup of mangoes, and spinach. Being festive never tasted so good.

"Also when your diet is 51% cooked food your body activates your immune system with everything you eat."

Evidence?

"I have also heard that like in tomatoes if you cook them you get a higher concentration of lycopene. Which makes up for the damaged enzymes."

Or you could just combine foods rich in lycopene with a little bit of fat.

One question the cooked vegetables promoters cannot answer is
What nutrients in cooked vegetables cannot we get in the same raw vegetables?

Im not a cooked vegetable promoter but I would figure...variety of food, availability, the sensation of a different kind of fullness. So maybe more of transitional value?

When you consume fat-soluble vitamins and phytochemicals (such as lycopene) with fat, you significantly increase their bioavailability.

It's highly unlikely that you've left anyone here wondering this. You simply are beyond realizing how badly you need help and you obviously have no responsible parental supervision to make you're seeking help not optional.

Staying inside in a self induced depression is purgatory. You need to get outside in nature MOVE everyday and your depression would vanish. Diet will only take you so far.

I personally guarantee from experience that if you woke up tommorrow, and had some tomic herb teas, and then did 100 Sun Salutations, and then proceeded to skin brush your entire body for a good ten minutes, and then worked on your online businesses for a while till it warmed up, and then went OUTSIDE and did some aerobic exercise, vigrous hiking, biking and/or running, and then went to a lake/river/stream and plunged in several times naked as your shower, and then layed nude in the Sun/Light for 30 minutes, you'd be a new depression free man, and being Circed would be the least of your worries.

Your CHOICE dude...

That is the problem with the forum, there are few guys who do not like each other and take over threads in insulting each other.
The topic gets lost
And yet they have private messages to insult each other.
