I don't know what your problem is but why not just delete yourself from threads you have no interest in? If you're more interested in the 50/50 raw/cooked vegan guy thread you STARTED go back over there instead of complaining about a thread about raw till only 4 guys. Six of one half dozen of the other - you're not being consistent with your complaints about threads which aren't about 100% raw vegan guys.

* edited because I just checked and HH not only didn't complain about that thread he started it.

First you call me out for having the audacity to post a thread about rawtill4 people because they aren't 100% raw - even though I am not suggesting people choose to follow that diet - then you ask Prana to delete this thread for that reason.

OK, now you've got my attention, HH, due to you not only doing the above listed things but because you just started a thread yourself on a 50/50 raw/cooked guy's diet and say you are thinking of maybe going on it!@#!!!

You said in your thread...

"When was the last time you were sick? Has being raw left you totally immune or do you still get colds and the flu? I've been reading Fuhrman's "Super Immunity" and he prescribes a 50/50 raw to cooked plant-food ratio to avoid illness. I'm trying to figure out what's best since I got ill this winter for the first time in many years."

Did you forget about that when you complained about me, HH, or are you just yet another garden variety "ends justifies the means" kind of guy?

I was asking raw people how their immunity is in my quest to "figure out what's best." That's it. My mere mention of Fuhrman's book doesn't mean jack other than I used it as a reference point. He's not the topic. Immunity and raw are clearly the topics. You're reaching a bit.

One thing that bothers me about this forum is the common off-topic thread. To make matters worse, I find DR and FL to be annoying. I don't want to come here and have them shoved in my grill, especially when they are not raw. They chose to leave the game. Let them go. They're not being raw gives me the perfect excuse to protest any discussion about them in this forum. No need to take it personally. I'd be perfectly happy if your threads about them were moved to the off-topic or other health forums. I just find their whole vibe to be so unhealthy. I don't know how you can stand to even think about them. I wash my hands of this topic.

I stand to think about them because I am concerned mostly for their young and naïve follower's health and that they are turning the vegan diet into an overall worldwide laughingstock. A vegan neighborhood streetlight needs to be kept on the creepy pair's doings, IMO, regardless of it's distastefulness. Nobody is obliged to read posts about them but they surly should be taken as a most grave concern by the vegan community as it's not just successful nonvegans who's YouTube businesses they sig their fruit fly posse onto.

Hellorodney isn't the only one who was turned off of eating vegan by those two's ridiculous dietary advice and creepy ways. There are many who could now be in better health had that pair's advice not been followed - instead there are many more enemies of vegans than ever thanks to them.

I agree with you that they do more harm than good. Where we split is my belief that ignoring them is best. All you're doing is giving them attention and therefore publicity.

You're right that we disagree on this. This pair will continue to make things worse and worse for all vegans if they are left unchallenged, IMO. More and more people get hurt when thugs are ignored. I think what I'm doing is the right thing to do. I am not done yet by a long shot.

interesting when you think about why people are focusing on the negative.

tell all this stuff to the hundreds of people who enjoy the event that they have put together in thailand.

(yes, I am aware that you will now post some negative response to that festival)

>Hellorodney isn't the only one who was turned off of eating vegan

he wasn't turned off by them. he tried to transition by eating more bananas and gained 15 pounds. then blamed the diet and quit.

subsequently he stated that during that period he had "cut down on the meat", meaning he was still eating some amount of meat, who knows how much, and also ate a lot of peanut butter and crackers.

but the weight gain was allegedly the bananas, or so he thought.

people love blaming fruit. enables them to continue eating pb and crackers and meat.

He gained weight because he got sucked on up onto their bandwagon believing he could eat as much as he wanted to eat even though that only works for active athlete types. He came to his senses and quit.

you can't eat meat/pb/crackers and blame the bananas or the diet since he wasn't ON the diet really.

i have been telling DR and FL for a long time that a minimum recommendation of 2500 cal/3000 cal for women/men is foolish. and so the weight gain stories accrue on their discussion group and they mindlessly applaud the weight gain. some do well, of course.

so they recently came out with a vid that said, "ok so if you don't want to eat that many calories, don't" .. hard to back away from their fixed rules now.. they equate anything less with calorie restriction because they make the self referential mistake.

It's mankind's attitude like this and heir's worship of publicity and money that makes me almost want to turn my back on the human race and become a recluse. Mr Kearns feels the same way. We don't like being around that type of talk. These people know not what they do, it is very very sad.

D.R seems to be very proud, but l guess manby folks fall into that trap. sad smiley Maybe it's time l went to the mountains and stayed with the Yogi's or something, l don't like the addiction to fame and money here.

You might want to aim a little higher and broader with your message, I think there's like 20 people on this forum.

Hey start a talking head YouTube channel like all the rest of the raw vegans. Mention DR and Free in your titles and you'll have an instant audience...

NuNativs on YouTube...

NuNativs,

This forum gets a bit more than 20 people reading it. In the last 30 days, 119 registered users have visited this site, in the last 365 days, 974 registered users have visited.

There are some unknown number of unregistered users. I went to a website traffic estimator, and they said 70,000 hits per month for this forum.

Ah, I stand corrected. I should have said 20 vocal people use this forum and the rest are shy introverts. So that's good Suez has a much larger audience than I thought, though I still think she should hit up YouTube with the cause...
