Date: December 31, 2006 09:54PM He argues against all raw because of nutrient density (he calls it nutrient rich). He says it's possible to get many more nutrients in the diet if one includes cooked vegetables because they are easier to digest and less bulky that way.
He mentions soup, specifically, where some of the nutrients are lost from the vegetables but retained in the water. I am not saying I agree with him. I just found it interesting and I think he has a good point. He looks good, healthy. So does John Robbins in his video, on another page. But also, I think that to some extent his point is moot because you can put a boatload of kale in the blender and drink it easily (say, with an apple or something). Date: January 01, 2007 04:35PM Whenever I have cooked vegetables, I tend to have them in soup form, for the above stated reason.
