Good articles. I especially like the first one. To excuse something like horse riding because it's impossible to be 100% vegan is ridiculous. We do what we can. Not riding a horse is easy to NOT do. Avoiding insects that get killed in produce farming is impossible. They're two completely different circumstances. As the article says: "Veganism is about minimizing our harm to other animals and avoiding animal products AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE."

To me a vegan is someone who does not eat animal products, But Gabriel Cousens and David Wolfe eat raw honey and should we demote them as "confused" or " raw vegetarians"? They say it is nectar.

So are you saying that you're a classic dietary vegan, only interested in the health and beauty benefits of not eating meat with little to no interest in the welfare of animals?

Kind of. I do it for the diet, for the food.

I love animals. I used to be animal activist, its a real thankless job...I did protest at peta topless and I had a blog I still might have it up on tribe where I wrote lots of animal welfare letters, I think 100 for that year, and I wrote letters to the editor protesting animal abuse...I was a real pill... but I just cant get around peta killing so many cats and dogs and mutilating animals. Practicing for us.

You guys, if you are in the animal business you have to question these practices. It's like junior mad scientist! These are animals!!! This is very scary to me, I love dogs. These dogs love you and need your protection.

I will not buy Iams products until you end all laboratory tests on animals, and I will encourage my friends and family to do the same.
