Date: January 11, 2016 06:09PM Does anyone know a site where i can just type in the nutrient ( for example : a specific Vitamin, mineral, or amino acid) and then, the site will bring up a list
of foods (highest to lowest) that contains that specific nutrient? Does Nutritiondata.com do this? I know that they will show you what nutrients are in the food you type in...but how about the other way around? Is there a way where you can type in the nutrient, and they will show you a list of the foods? I didn't see that option. So, I'm wondering if there are other sites that do that. Edited 1 time(s). I put in the word "Iron" and this is what I got [nutritiondata.self.com] A lot of "freeze dried" and dried items..though.. I wonder why. Probably for ease of their own measurement scale. Easier to weigh powder than a curly parsley leaf. They have RAW parsley way further down on the list "Raw"...at 6 mg per 100mg serving. Hmm... this is a nice start. Kind of handy. Thank you. If anyone else knows of a site that is more geared towards RAW and plant based but not freeze dried lol Bring it On! Re: Nutrient Profiling ? Question

Date: January 12, 2016 04:08PM I typed in nutrients highest in zinc, lowest in copper. this is what I got.
[nutritiondata.self.com] Kind of confusing because they said "sprouted, cooked, boiled, salted" in one sentence like they did ALL of the things to that food. Wow.Weird. Why would they sprout it then boil it and heat it and salt it to give a nutrient profile? I had to laugh. It was too funny. Re: Nutrient Profiling ? Question

this is slightly different regardless, either one can give you what you need but you need to do a little work too, since you can't exclude dried. Re: Nutrient Profiling ? Question

[www.fda.gov] this may be of use too but maybe not enough nutrients listed Re: Nutrient Profiling ? Question
