Professor K blows Professor K out of the water Okay, so he’s predicting 10,000 deaths total in the US over 4 weeks if we let the epidemic do it’s thing with no intervention, after which herd immunity will have been accomplished. Yet deaths in the US stand at 10,700 *with* massive social distancing measures. So the curve of the epidemic with massive social distancing is steeper than he posits it would be in the absence of any containment measures. That makes absolutely no sense. "I think people in the United States and maybe other countries are more docile than they should be. People should talk with their politicians. Question them. Ask them to explain. Something he said that really makes so much sense - how little children should be exposed to various infectious diseases naturally so they build up their immunity - aka immune system. And that when there's a virus such as this (if you believe in the virus thing), then children should be free to go out (rather than locked down/shut in under Marshall Law) but old people need to be protected so that they won't end up dying. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
