I have always pleaded with you, if you are sick, don’t go to a doctor, but if you are dying, NEVER GO TO A HOSPITAL!

Let me be clear right off the bat. I am not talking about if you get in a car wreck and your legs are on the other side of the road. Don’t throw the baby out with the bath water. This is what medica doctors do best, fix trauma. When I say never go to a doctor I am talking about disease, healing and health which doctors have no understanding of, and treat it the same way they treat trauma.

Your gall bladder is congested, they cut it out, tonsils inflamed, they cut them out, heart arteries clogged, they cut them out and sew in some veins from your legs. If your liver or kidneys get sick, they cut them out and gore a hole in you as big as a football, cut out the failing organ and sew in some stranger’s organ. They are Dr. Frankensteins, they use electric drills, bone saws, razor sharp knives, potent toxic chemical drugs and even radiation beams. Not healing tools, but replacement tools.

What makes medical doctors so good at trauma medicine is exactly what makes them so horrible at helping your body heal itself and helping you heal disease and create health. This is not what medicine is all about and for this same reason often why they kill people trying to get them well. They are butchers, not bakers.

If you get run over by a bulldozer, you want them, as many as you can get, in the room with you, with all their tools, cutting, burning and sewing you back together. But when you are ill and want to heal your body, repair it, build it, and create health, they are your worst enemy. And during the last days of your life, they will systematically torture you and rob you of every penny you have scrimped and saved for your entire life. We would give a murderer and a thief a life sentence in prison for what medical doctors and hospitals commonly do every hour of every day, and WE PAY FOR IT!

Over half of the doctors that treat dying patients in hospitals have known their patients for only 2 or 3 days, have no idea who they are or what their final wishes might be. Often the patient’s immediate relatives are restricted from seeing their own family member. Studies show that over 90% of strangers WOULD hold a dying person’s hand while studies also show that over 90% of doctors WON’T hold a dying patient’s hand in their final moments. Medical doctors don’t want to even be in your room when you die, on average spend only 3 minutes a day with you, they see your death as a defeat, cannot handle it and leave the mopping up to some nurses. If the medical doctor was a friend, they would send you home to be comfortable and with loved ones. Instead they avoid you like the plague which is perfect for the hospital because the hospital wants you there, suffering and slowly wasting away, you are a cash cow to them, the longer it takes you to die, the better! Why do you think it is standard practice to revive brain dead patients? You’re not a vegetable to them, you’re a freaking gold mine.

PAINFUL

Statistics also show that over half of Americans that die in hospitals, die in severe pain and even terminal patients at death door are denied medication because of fear of addiction, what a joke. So your body is riddled with cancer and open sores, you are in such excruciating pain that you have to be strapped down to the bed and what are they afraid of, you’re going to recover and have to enter a 12 step program?

Opium is an herbal gift from God, but denied to us by medical doctors and our Government (is there a difference?). In reality fewer than 1% of people treated with opium and opium drugs become addicted. In a recent study 40% of neurologists surveyed wrongly believed that a single dose of morphine, (a drug made from one of God’s gifts, the opium poppy), big enough to reduce pain would kill the patient. Actually there is no ceiling dose of morphine, as long as the patient is given time to adjust. I am not suggesting that we dope and drug the dying, but it is inhumane to let people writhe in agonizing, excruciating pain.

Another study found that 71% of medical doctors choose weak and ineffective pain medications for dying patients solely because they didn’t want to fill out all the extensive paperwork to prescribe a narcotic, even though by their own standards the stronger pain relief drugs are considered the medically appropriate treatment.

Also, most health insurance does not cover these pain medications which leads me to next subject.

EXPENSIVE

At the turn of the century, health insurance was designed to cover lost wages from working, not hospital and doctor bills. Eighty years ago, the loss of 2 weeks pay for the average American worker was much more money than the cost of 2 weeks stay in the hospital, which was fairly insignificant back then. In the 1920’s 2 weeks in the hospital costs slightly more than the average American made in wages for 2 weeks. Today an average 2 weeks in the hospital for nothing really serious costs more than the average American makes in an entire year! Over $50,000.00. That’s serious, bankrupting, medical inflation.

Since according to statistics, medical doctors are right less than 20% of the time when they predict how long you will live when you have a terminal disease, many people spend more time than they imagined of their final days in the hospital. Although the average is a week, many people end up spending weeks and even months in a hospital waiting to die.

Waiting to die in an extensive care unit costs over $3,000.00 a day and often up to $5,000.00. Doctors often perform, at an additional cost, very expensive surgical and supposed life saving treatments like bone marrow and cell transplantation, dialysis and resuscitation in your final days along with outrageously expensive chemotherapy type drugs. You are charged every time doctors resuscitate a dying patient. Often Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation, (which is even considered standard essential treatment for brain dead patients in intensive care) can be done numerous times a day at up to $30,000.00 a pop. Just a few of these, a few drugs, a couple of surgical procedures and voila, you’re dead and your entire family including your grandchildren are bankrupt and in the poor house, on average 1/2 million dollars in debt. We joke when things are expensive that you might have to give up your first born child, well for this experience, you might have to give up your children’s, children’s future. I had many patients that couldn’t pay the hospital bills after a loved one died and were then sued by the hospitals and had EVERYTHING taken away from them to pay hospital bill, even though the doctor’s futile attempts were a failure. You pay, DEAD, or ALIVE! No Guarantee, No Warranty!

Am I Too Aggressive?
Recently, I had some friends over to my house. They brought a man with them that I didn’t know and he said to me that he thought that my newsletter, especially my Politically InCorrect column was too aggressive, and that I was exhibiting too much rage. He said that I needed to be more loving. (He was referring to my attacks against medical doctors and the pharmaceutical industry, the biggest murderers and the #1 cause of death in America today, in my January 2000 Get Well Newsletter.)

Ironically, this man’s visit was cut short because his mother, who recently had breast cancer and had one breast hacked off by a doctor, was now having the other healthy breast ripped off her body, as some medically sick and perverted frankensteinish idea of prevention. To this man, I guess that ignorant medical doctors cutting healthy tissue and body parts off of his mother, supporting and promoting her to live in fear and ignorance, not teaching her about health and healing her body and ripping her off for thousands of dollars to torture her is O.K., or at least acceptable behavior. We should just smile? Say nothing? Be loving? Take our medicine? And that I, not the doctors, is the one who is out of control, acting inappropriate, too aggressive? NOW HOLD IT ONE DAMN MINUTE!

Have we really become such ignorant, wimpy, gutless and spineless sheep, being led to the slaughter with love in our hearts and smiles on our faces? What a wonderful hypnotic con job medicine has done on us......O.K., maybe I’ll try to be a little more smoochy-woochy, but this guy was asking the wrong doctor to back down. If that was my mom I would have helped her to make a more rational, sane and healthy decision based on strength not fear, and illumination not ignorance. I would have taken her to organic markets, shown her health stores and health books, bought her a juicer and had a wheatgrass juice party with her and maybe even a Garlic enema. Taught her about cleansing and detoxification, hot and cold showers, skin brushing, herbal poultices, massage, laughter and helped to educate her in how to create and live a healthy, cancer free lifestyle and a thousand more things. Oh yeah, and I would have cornered her doctor and told him to shove the scalpel up his ass, in a positive, loving way of course.

The reality of medicine, all the pain, torture and disfigurement, is so horrible, the only way we can deal with it is to hide the truth, bury our heads in the sand, become numb and pretend it is a logical health care choice. Then when I illuminate the horror, and expose medicine for the criminally insane butchering and murder it is, when people first see this, their first knee jerk reaction is to hate me, kill the messenger. I know I push buttons, but never mistake that it is love and illumination, not anger and rage.
