I go walking every day, often 5 miles or more, I walk to pick wild greens and it's also my main form of transport if I want to go anywhere (eg shopping).

I do Five Rhythm dancing, usually twice a week.

I love to go hiking when I get the chance. Sometimes I run.

I just finished doing yoga. Nice. As always. As Gurmukh said to breathe in the sound "sat" and exhale the sound "nam" and explained what they mean, it occured to me that this would go counter to some people's other religious beliefs. Or some people, like my mom, are bitter about all religion, even non-religious spiritual practices. There are probably quite a few reasons out there why Americans haven't taken to the religious / spritual aspect of yoga. One of them surely is that many Americans are more interested in what I consider more superficial, shallow things in life. But I think we can probably all agree that it's of no use to scoff at anyone.
