Its got MEAT recipes in it , yes, cooked with "agave" to make it raw-like.. and alot of the recipes have cooked stuff in it [search.barnesandnoble.com] can you believe that and it is the firstbook you see when you walk into barnes and Nobles on display, I am not blasting here, I am just saying look in the bookstore next time you go.. Date: January 26, 2007 08:04PM You can be raw without being vegan. Not my choice of life style, but I figure the more people eating raw the better (and easier, cheaper for us to continue our life style).

Date: January 26, 2007 10:44PM What misrepresentation! I've never heard of her. She wrote a previous raw book too. At least maybe it will get the word out. Re: Have you guys seen the new raw food book?

Date: January 27, 2007 08:07PM Natalia Rose wrote "The Raw Food Detox diet" a couple years back. I borrowed it from the library but didn't wind up buying it because it didn't encourage 100% raw, which for me, personally is how I have chosen to live my life. Date: January 27, 2007 10:25PM I haven't read the whole book--just flipped through it at the store--but it seems to me like the book is geared to the SADieter who's never heard of raw food before. She includes meat in her transition diet but ranks it very low on her list of "life energy foods." Re: Have you guys seen the new raw food book?

Date: January 28, 2007 01:22AM That is Natalia Rose on the cover. I think she's hot and looks healthy, and seems like a very happy, balanced woman, so she must be doing something right.
I bought it for my daughter.... she's a meat eater, and it's a perfect for her, because the author does does try to persuade towards a vegan and vegetarian lifestyle, but still works with people, right where they are in life. Re: Have you guys seen the new raw food book?

The Generals in the antic wars realized that when the soldiers mostly ate vegetables and fruits, they we're loving and kind. So they gave them meat to "berserk" them for war. True and interesting. Re: Have you guys seen the new raw food book?

True, my daughter is 20yrs, and she was organic from conception until she moved out after high school. Then she became a Starbucks and fast food rebel. Now she has some health problems, so I hope the book inspires her, to go back to the way she was raised. I'd rather see her have an avocado and essene bread sandwhich, with sprouts and veggies, then eat fast food. She has always loved fruits & veggies, so she likes all the raw recipes.
