Date: February 03, 2007 10:02PM scince I have become a BUDDING raw foodie I have been useing a lot of raisins. Especially in my salads.They are a kindof a nice dressing substitue.BUT, I haven't heard very much about them here.I did hear not to eat to many 'cause they react to much like sugar. are they even raw food? does anyome know benifits or downsides??? Date: February 04, 2007 01:01AM Raisins hinder iron absorption by about 75%, so I don't eat them or red grapes, as they do the same. If you are not concerned about iron, then as long as they are truly raw, and not too much sugar for you, enjoy. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
