Thanks for any information. Scott Re: Raw milk maker

Date: March 04, 2007 09:36PM Thanks for the fast reply Funky. I actually went to your site before I posted and saw that one from one of your links.
Do you use this one? I am not sure if I would be interested in using hemp...probably other nuts like almond and soy. Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 03/04/2007 09:38PM by smcdanie. Re: Raw milk maker

You can use the Yaoh one to make other nut and seed milk, but not soy - soy needs to be cooked, hence the need for the heating element. Rob -- Rob Hull - Funky Raw My blog: [www.rawrob.com] Re: Raw milk maker

Date: March 05, 2007 12:43AM I looked at the videos on the soyquick site and the operation and cleanup is way easier using my K-Tec blender. Plus, I get to use the blender for smoothies, etc. But it gave me some ideas...has anyone tried raw soymilk? I wonder how it compares in taste and digestibility to almond milk. I'd like something a little heavier than just fruits and veggies but without all the fat of nuts. Re: Raw milk maker

Greenie - I used to sprout soybeans and eat them raw but the taste was horrible. Didn't do that many times. Funky Rob says, "Eating raw soy beans is not a good idea. (Can't remember why...)" In my opinion the terrible taste is reason enough. This way is not compatible with Zen practice. Date: March 06, 2007 12:41AM eating raw beans is bad because they contain enzyme inhibitors. the only way to reverse the effect of enzyme inhibitors is to cook or sprout the bean. Cooking beans get rid of the enzyme inhibitors, but also the enzymes. I read that in "Rawsome" by Brigette Mars. Re: Raw milk maker
