Sweet Tooth

An FYI to anyone who may have a sweet tooth like me. I've begun to use just part of the Apple Crisp recipe from Gabrielle Chavez's book The Raw Food Gourmet, page 134.

Take apple slices and coat with a little lemon juice and honey
Dehydrate over night or so

Good to snack on when sweet cravings come calling if a plain apple wont get you through it. I'm not too proud to use crutches like this for a while.

I was hoping that someone would mention Gabrielle Chavez's cookbook...Even though I'm new to raw foods it seems that every recipe I have tried of hers is always a great success...and I have tried other recipes that were similar to hers from other sources but they just don't have the consistency or flavor that hers have...Diana

most of us have a sweet tooth, i think.
an apple doesn't do much for me either, no matter what you do to it...
how about a good mango or a pineapple or a papaya?
blended dates/figs over bananas is good too.
