Date: April 16, 2007 05:58PM I know these are good for liver cleansing, but how do you use them exactly? Can you grind raw seeds and mix with water? Are they too bitter for smoothies? Help! Re: milk thistle seeds?

Date: April 16, 2007 07:30PM if you avoid hot water tea even for medicinal purposes you could try making a sun tea (soak herbs in water in sunlight until steeped). it probably wouldn't be as strong as one made with boiling water so yes, grinding or crushing the seeds first might be a good idea.
however, as with all medicine, only take an herbal tea for curative purposes if it's needed. with a clean diet and some exercise your liver will detox itself in good time. the liver is an incredibly powerful organ, have faith in it. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
