Date: April 19, 2007 03:45PM Yes, it has oxalic acid in it which stops the absorbtion of some minerals. I think you need to eat a lot before it would cause a problem, but something to be aware of.

Date: April 20, 2007 03:35PM This would be the least of my concerns to be honest... you can over eat nuts and other proteinaceous things and be much worse off. Overeating greens is on the bottom of my list for concerns.

Date: April 20, 2007 08:03PM I sometimes will eat a pound of raw baby spinach at a sitting. I like it when the spinach isn't too salty tasting. However, this is not a staple for me, as I don't like it enough to eat this regularly. Re: Raw spinach
