Date: April 27, 2007 01:48AM does anyone here have experience being raw in Tahoe, specifically south lake tahoe? Does tahoe have any good markets with a wide selection of fresh raw foods? I've lived in tahoe for a couple months before but never while raw. i was all ready to move to hawaii but now i might be able to get a sweet job in tahoe.. im kinda at a crossroads... Date: April 27, 2007 06:02PM Hi Jono,
For everybody wondering what Jono is talking about, Tahoe is a lake (and a City) in northern California which is a host to many ski resorts. Very pretty area. I don't know much about the markets there, but they do a have an organic cafe, which while it isn't really a raw foods place, I was able to get a nice yummy salad there. I figure they are getting nice yummy fresh ingredients there, then you can too. Also, Tahoe is only a few hours (and less) by car to major growing areas, so other than where to buy in Tahoe, it shouldn't be too hard to get a hold of fresh produce. Cheers, Ian. Re: Raw in Tahoe?

Date: June 12, 2007 04:41AM Ian, thanks, ive researched a few farmers markets in and around tahoe and I think i'll be ok with that and a couple health-food stores.
I'm moving up there tomorrow. Gonna be living in a cabin atleast until the snow hits. No internet or TV channels, i think i'll take up meditation Peace, -J Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
