Question about baby coconuts
Posted by: GypsyArdor ()

Hi everyone. I have a question about baby coconuts. I've seen on some of the raw food prep shows that the coconut water is in a pitcher. It made me wonder about opening up my case of coconuts when I get them each week, and keeping the water and "meat" in separate containers in the fridge (saving me lots of room!). Is this something that can be done, or will the water/"meat" go bad?

Thanks!

Love,

Gypsy

Both are best when opened just before consuming. Maybe the shows prepare everything ready to use for the demo so as not to take up footage on it.

Thai coconuts should be eaten in Thailand.

papayas, mangos and bananas are tropical fruits....should we only eat them in the tropics?

i am grateful for all fruits/seeds/nuts/greens this earth gifts us with!

baby coconuts are yummy! especially when you crack 'em open and eat the whole thing, right there and then.

love,
m.

Me too. It's just that in terms of reducing the pollution footprint of our food, there is no substitute for local organic.
