Starting raw with a couple of questions

Date: May 14, 2007 02:20PM Mmm, well, I'm planning on starting a 100% raw diet soon but I'll still be taking these suplements:
[www.evitamins.com] I have to take those because my hair has suffered greatly from malnutrition. Would that count as a 99% raw food diet if I'm taking supplements? And I was wondering how much weight a person lost on average, and how their skin reacted to it (i.e. loose skin and stretch marks). Thanks ^_^. Re: Starting raw with a couple of questions

Date: May 14, 2007 03:30PM Congratualations! Make sure to stay comfortable...and transition/change more slowly if you have problems.
1) Sure. You'd be 99%. 2) I lost 1-2 lbs a week for over a year on a mostly vegetable diet & exercise. This seems to be a healthy loss. 3) My skin cleared up completely. Stretch marks faded with exercise and body-sculpting. -Just my experiences. -David Z. Mason WWW.RawFoodFarm.com Re: Starting raw with a couple of questions

Date: May 14, 2007 03:33PM What vitamins or minerals in particular are you trying to get from the supplement? There are plant foods that are high in specific ones that you might be able to replace them with. In fact, a lot of supplements are just ground up rocks and factory chemicals that just go right out through the urine anyway . . .
My grandma's in her 80's and has seen some remarkable hair results with goji juice . . . I went two months at 100% and lost about 10 lbs . . . I now eat a little cooked and am back up to regular . . . -Ryan radicalvitality.com Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 05/14/2007 03:34PM by ryandvan. Re: Starting raw with a couple of questions

Date: May 14, 2007 04:45PM David: Thanks, it's a relief that stretch marks fade =). I'm actually planning on going 100% raw at once, because I know I wouldn't be able to keep up with gradually adding more raw foods into my diet and eventually I'll just give up. Thanks =).
Ryan: I'm not really sure what vitamins I'm trying to get, it's what my mother suggested when she noticed my hair falling. I've never heard of goji juice ^_^u. Thanks though, I'll read up on it and try it. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
