Could eating cooked foods be the reason I sneeze?

For the past few weeks I've been sneezing like crazy and I can't figure it out. I've never had "allergies" in my life, pollen or anything outside doesn't bother me. There's no new scented things. I was wondering if eating cooked sometimes and it triggering that mucus thing have a connection with sneezing? Nothing seems to trigger it, it's completley random.

Sneezing could be a detox symptom. You would be ejecting something from your lungs/passage way.

Sometimes pepper makes people sneeze if you're using that. It may be an ingredient used in cooking. Otherwise, I don't think cooked itself makes one sneeze.

Good luck.

The current medical view about allergies is that they're cumulative. In other words, a person can have sensitivity to multiple allergens and only show an allergic reaction when they build up enough --- kind of like the straw that broke the camel's back. The person will then think they're allergic to that last straw - pollen, wheat, dairy ,etc.-- and not realize that it's just one of many things triggering the allergy.

This is consistent with the ayurvedic view that allergies are due to a buildup of 'ama' (impurities) caused by weak digestive fire. And it's also pretty consistent with the naturopathic view that allergies are due to build up of toxins. I think it's interesting that mainstream medicine has come to essentially the same view. The only difference is that they don't call the substances impurities and of course don't recommend raw diet. Yet.

In terms of substances, a lot of building materials, cleaners, personal hygiene products, etc. are quite allergenic. So something there may be triggering an attack.

I tend to have congestion, sneezing, etc. that stops when I cut down on nuts, seeds, and avos, and load up on fruit.
