cancer remission

Date: June 07, 2007 03:10PM Hi everyone,
A couple of months ago I posted that my husband was diagnosed with level 2 prostate cancer. Last November his PSA score was 4.3 which prompted the need for a biopsy. In January the urologist informed us that he had a Gleason score of 6 which means the cancer was contained, but removing the prostate was strongly encouraged. We scheduled the operation for July 20th. Two months ago my husband's PSA was 6.5. Yesterday his PSA registered 3.9!!! We are going to postpone the operation- hopefully forever. This January, after hearing the news, my husband joined me on the raw food path, quitting all dairy products. He religiously ingested large quantities of supplements, recommended by an local prominent orthomolecular specialist. After consulting this forum my husband chose to regularly drink wheatgrass and to harvest our dandelions which he then dries at 100 degrees F, grinds with a mortar and pestle, then consumes with organic orange or tomato juice. He will continue this regimen for the rest of his life, fine tuning it to meet his health needs. We are so excited at the prospect of beating his prostate cancer naturally. I believe the raw food diet plays a big part in his recovery. Thanks to everyone who posted. Your support and information is invaluable. Namaste, Anna Re: cancer remission
