Date: July 12, 2007 04:41AM Are the enzyme inhibitors in nuts only in the skin, or are they in the flesh as well? The Brazil and pine nuts that I purchase come with their skins removed, but if the flesh also has the inhibitors in them, I'd like to soak them first.

Date: July 12, 2007 02:06PM The enzyme inhibitors are intrinsic to the nut, which means that you'd need to soak the nut, not just remove the skin, to release the inhibitors.
