Date: July 20, 2007 05:42PM I'm wondering if one is 100% raw when starting out, then staying that way for say..2-5 years, how could you still have Candida? Seems to me if you are very healty, eating a 100% raw diet of diverse foods, then things like Candida will clear up.

I have just always loved raw salads and fruits - but have NEVER been 100% raw. Probably not even 50%. Re: So..why does everything have to be so complicated?

Date: July 21, 2007 03:13PM siracusa, my friend avoided fruitsugars for months at a time, following Gabriel Cousens advise for candida but it wasn't until she cut down her fat intake to almost nothing that the candida finally started to shift. All I can say is try it, eat all the fruit you want, get most of your calories from fruit, but keep your fat intake down or don't eat any overt fats at all for a week or so and see what happens. You should see results quite quickly. My friend got this advise from Dr. Douglas Graham's book The 80/10/10 Diet. You can order it from his website at [www.foodnsport.com]
Wishing you well, francis P.S. Maybe I should mention that I do not benefit from any book sales that Dr. Graham makes Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 07/21/2007 03:17PM by Frannie. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
